Care for Children

We are very aware of the need to care for children travelling on our buses. When children board the wrong school bus, the driver will contact the depot or arrange to transfer the child to the correct bus. Children will never be left stranded.

Quality of Service

Symons Bus and Coach Service aims to provide a high quality of service, achieved through investment in our drivers and fleet.

👤 Drivers

Our drivers are fully authorised and trained to provide the highest level of service and safety.

🚌 Fleet

We maintain a fleet of quality buses that conform to all government requirements for Operator Accreditation. All buses are thoroughly maintained through comprehensive inspection programs to ensure maximum efficiency and safety.

Crossing the Road

Children can get excited to meet friends or parents at bus stops and may lack awareness of other road users when crossing. Parents are encouraged to park on the same side of the road as the bus stop — not on the opposite side.

If a child needs to cross the road after getting off the bus, they should follow these three steps:

WAIT

Until the bus has moved on

LOOK

Both ways for incoming traffic

WALK

Across the road while staying aware of your surroundings

If there is a designated crossing nearby, it must be used.
