Before you get up, check around your seat for any belongings you brought with you.

A Note for Parents

Parents collecting children from the bus stop are encouraged to park on the same side of the road as the bus — not on the opposite side. This avoids children needing to cross in front of or behind moving traffic to reach you.

Crossing the Road

If you need to cross the road after getting off the bus, follow these three steps:

WAIT

Until the bus has fully moved on

LOOK

Both ways for any incoming traffic

WALK

Across, staying aware of your surroundings

If there is a designated crossing nearby, it must be used.
